VW Golf TDI 2002 Automatic. Can anyone let me know where the glow plugs are located physically? - glow golf
Hello, I want to replace. I have already bought the light plugs.I removed the plastic cover, but not sure if the plug. I am not a good mechanic, but with the tools and do not think it would be too difficult, only to replace the glow plugs too. Also the same question regrding fuel filter (?) - Or is harder to fuel filters / "is a different story"? THANK YOU.

This will help your questions http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php glow plug help ... Officers and the filter. The filter is located on the left side of the engine compartment, if you are in the engine http://blogs.edmunds.com/roadtests/oldfi here is a picture ... is the only one of the filter if I can use for diesel. Because if you try and remove the filter, it will also air in the channels and never without bleeding lines. and it is a pain in the A @ #. If your old filter to get the new diesel engine, and put it into the top hole when it is full, you can install. But remember that you install the fuel filter, you have the correct lines ..... bleed
Spark plugs Glow plugs next. Half the time you report the error codes are the shining splendor of connecting cables and connections. You are 10 mm and are of the head in a corner.
To replace the fuel filter, follow the 2-injection pumps online for the package of money at the end of the side of the engine compartment. Media remove and replace. Enter a vacuum source go back and wait for the fuel. This would prepare the plan. They have no electric fuel pump, so that if at least the first drawing fuel through the filter, you will be sitting, there is a long, not counting startup. It is hard in the chest and battery. And if the diesel spill on the piece or pieces of rubber hose, clean it as soon as possible, because diesel fuel can melt cooling hoses. (Fuel lines are not rubber)
