Both Carnival and Royal Caribbean Cruises offers from Galveston. However, these rides are not fully understood everything, and he must pay for drinks and specialty restaurants, at least. Carnival is a trip of 3 or 4 days and a cruise of 7 days. Royal Caribbean Cruises 7 days from Galveston since early December to mid April.
Carnival is not for everyone, but it could be your only option if you are looking for something less than 7 days. 3-4 one-day cruise will in all probability on Cozumel and the Riviera Maya and Progresso.
When other companies, particularly smaller ones, I do not know.
