It depends on what type of fund goals, or looking for. There are many, as many trade and business models are known as market neutral, statistical arbitrage, global macro, focusing, etc. specified. What do you want to average analyst estimates analyst, technical analyst, analyst firm, as operator, Equity Analyst, etc..? Basic research is important in certain types of strategies. By late afternoon, the key to a job in hedge funds has solid experience in a safe place, actually one of the best in their field, there is no advantage in experiencing a bit much, wants to hedge fund specialists. Hedge funds almost never analyst with little experience in immigration, not because their teams are very small, they are taking for a genuine expert in specific locations. Consider network of groups of hedge funds, because they know the right people is the key to success in the field with experience.
